Superb important Buddha from the Mandalay period from Birmanie from the 19th century in gilded wood on a wooden base.

Large, rare Buddha with a superb patina and richly decorated with glass beads. He holds the myrobalan fruit in his right hand, an allusion to the healing power of Buddha.
The face has a very beautiful expression and his eyes are made of glass.
Superb patina and in magnificent condition.
