"The Grand Canal And The Curch Of The Salute"
The canvas unveils the unusual vision of the Salute and Venice, captured frontally from the vantage point of the Punta della Dogana. The Grand Canal comes alive with gondolas and other vessels, while graceful figures gather along the quays. Though painted in the early 20th century, the work echoes the spirit of the ancient vedute, presenting some of Venice’s most iconic monuments from an unexpected perspective. It is preserved in its original gilded and finely carved frame.
