Object description :

"Louis XV Period Double Glazed Sideboard"
Two-part sideboard in solid cherry wood, Louis XV period. What a lovely model, the upper part is in the shape of a "gendarme's hat". The cornice is deeply molded. All the carvings are made in positive: the wood is hollowed out up to the location of the motif. The gendarme's hat movement is present on the lower and upper doors. The uprights are rounded, with moldings projecting and made in the mass. The sides are mounted on a flat band, the feet end with shells. The windows are original, the back panels are made of solid walnut. The patina made with beeswax is warm and nuanced. H 252 cm D 64 cm L 148cm (cornice level) Shipping costs included for France
