Silver Tea and Coffee Set – Empire Style, 19th Century Elegant silver tea and coffee set, comprising four pieces: Teapot, Coffeepot, Milk Jug, Covered Sugar Bowl. Each piece is crafted in the Empire style, with rich decoration including eagle heads in relief on the handles and carved eagles as lid grips. The pieces rest on claw feet, and the dark wood handles contrast elegantly with the brilliance of the silver. Hallmark: 800/1000 fine silver, crab hallmark (foreign import hallmark, unidentified). Total gross weight: 1,685 grams. A beautiful, complete and harmonious 19th century set, ideal for lovers of Empire style silver services and to adorn a refined table or enrich a collection.
