Daum France And André Dubreuil "macao" Stand In Crystal And Wrought Iron
Magnificent and rare "Macao" table in blue tinted crystal and wrought iron from Daum France and André Dubreuil, circa 1990.
It consists of 2 pieces. The wrought iron column with its inlaid crystal plates, its crystal top shelf and the blown crystal vase in a wrought iron mount on top. This recalls the work of Daum and Majorelle in the 1930s. It is signed "Daum France" and it is numbered 11/75.
This table is referenced in the book "André Dubreuil, Poète du Fer" and a similar model is exhibited at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nancy (see photo).
Total height: 174 cm! Diameter at the widest: 38 cm! Very good condition. No cracks, no chips.
