18th century engraving depicting the mausoleum of Marshal Maurice de Saxe, which is located in the Lutheran church of St Thomas in Strasbourg, built on the drawings and plans of Jean Baptiste Pigalle (1714-1785)
Drawn and etched by Charles Nicolas Cochin fils (1715-1790) and finished by Dupuis.
Captions: "To the Count of Lusace Lieutenant General of the King's Armies" "By his very humble and very obedient servant Pigalle". Fillings of gaps at the top in the corners, tear in the center, restored, lined on acid-free cardboard.
