Superb wooden box in the Napoleon III style, finely inlaid with geometric and foliage motifs, with a mother-of-pearl medallion in the center. Inside the lid, there is a mercury mirror with a worked outline. The box is generally in good condition but shows some normal signs of wear related to time. It does not have its key. The interior has been modified and is therefore not original, with a more recent covering showing visible losses.
