Very interesting vase from the AVEM arte vetraria muranese factory, a prestigious workshop on the island of Murano off the coast of Venice and created by the artist Zanfirico Bizantino. Work listed and referenced in the AVEM book by Marc Heiremans. Excellent condition for this wonderful and rare vase from the early 1950s. Very beautiful decorative effect for this piece of art with these very beautiful inclusions of gold flakes in the thickness of the glass and its wonderful inclusions of colors.
