Rare condition, perfectly preserved, from a first owner who never had any use for them… H 78 CM X W 48 CM X L 48.5 CM. H seat 44 CM. Bibliography: N. Oda, Danish Chairs, Korinsha Press, Kyoto, 1996. K. Bjerregaard, Design From Scandinavia #11, World Pictures, Copenhagen, 1993. Møller's creations, such as his dining room chairs, armchairs, tables, and sideboards, demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship. By avoiding unnecessary ornamentation, they are distinguished by their simplicity, functionality, and elegant curves, emblematic of post-war Danish design. His company's limited collection allowed him to invest a lot of time in the development of each creation, sometimes up to five years, ensuring impeccable quality. Niels Otto Møller (1920-1982) is known for his carved wooden furniture with organic forms and great attention to detail. He is the son of master carpenter Jens Laursen Møller. His creations are distinguished by their timeless elegance and comfort, making him an iconic figure in Danish design. His works are often made of teak or rosewood, and they reflect the know-how and mastery of Danish cabinetmaking.
