19th-century French rosewood inlaid desk in Louis XV style with secret compartment, circa 1870. It is decorated with beautiful floral inlays. The door opens to reveal an interior furnished with three small drawers and a writing surface with a red velvet inlay. Above the drawer are three drawers and a secret compartment. The desk has its original hardware. It measures 97 cm high, 77 cm wide, and 58 cm deep when closed and 75 cm deep when open.
