Signed lower left and titled on the back.
Lodew Bosscke (1900-1980)
Painter, trained at the "Grande Chaumière" and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he also created stained glass windows for Grüber in 1926. Exhibited at Berheim Jeune. Settled in Brussels in 1930. Painted landscapes, portraits, nudes, animals and still lifes. Retrospective in 1991 at the town hall of Schaerbeek.
