Large bronze keyhole plate, 16th century
The keyhole sits on a bowl where a big vegetal decoration ornamented with flowers and fruits blossoms from. This model is quoted in "Les anciens maîtres serruriers et leurs meilleurs travaux" (T.II, plate XCII) by Henry-René d’Allemagne (see picture).
Very good condition, remains of gilding.
