Napoleon III gilt bronze clock and two candelabras Superb Napoleon III period mantelpiece set, in finely chiseled and mercury-gilded bronze. The clock, richly decorated with rocaille motifs typical of the Second Empire style, is embellished with two elegant gilt bronze birds that bring a touch of refinement and poetry to the whole. It is accompanied by two five-armed candelabras, also in gilt bronze, featuring lively and foliate shapes. The movement is present but will require servicing.
