Beautiful letter about the screening in London of the short film that François Campeaux made on Matisse, shot during the winter of 1945-1946, first in Paris then in Nice, with a commentary by Jean Cassou, writer, art critic and founder of the Musée national d'art moderne de Paris.François Campeaux was commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to film Matisse.
