The universal camera lucida is an optical instrument used to draw or trace, enlarge or reduce an image using a triangular prism and lenses. The arm is adjustable by a rack system. The camera and its original wooden case are in very good condition. Note, 1 lens is missing out of the 12 it should contain (convex or concave focus lenses). Instrument created by Jules Berville, patented in 1890. Material: Brass.
