The work illustrates Édouard Drouot’s taste for allegorical and feminine figures, imbued with grace and movement. Édouard Drouot (1859-1945), French sculptor, student of Mathurin Moreau, exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français and received several distinctions. He produced numerous edition bronzes, highly appreciated for their elegance and the quality of their casting. Original patina shaded brown and green, well preserved.
