Silver-plated Teapot And Warmer, Christofle, 19th Century

Beautiful piece of form composed of a kettle resting on a quadripod support with lion's paws decorated in its center with a stove equipped with a wick. The handle of the teapot and the rest are decorated with scrolls and the lid includes a pull knob in the shape of an open flower resting on foliage.

Hallmarks:

- Under the warmer: “Christofle” mark and maker’s mark consisting of a scale with a bee between the plates, surmounted by four stars, two branches below and the letters CC (used between 1844 and 1935)
- Under the kettle: the same as under the warmer as well as a “73” hallmark and a serial number (1240138)

Some traces of oxidation.
Two light knocks to note.
Good general condition.
