The latter had bought a porcelain factory from the merchant Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky (1710-1775), which had been founded in 1761. From the beginning, the royal scepter of the Brandenburg electoral coat of arms was chosen as the trademark. The factory specialized in particular in table services and art objects and is still active today.
