This family interior scene was painted in 1906 by the French painter Louis Merou (born in 1870), listed. Natural son of an unknown father, he entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Montpellier, where he was appointed director by the Montpellier town hall. Sent to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
