Pair Of Gothic-style Wall Sconces In Gilded Hammered Wrought Iron
Superb pair of wall sconces in hammered wrought iron, gilt leaf and old patina. Quality work in the Gothic style of the late 19th century. These pieces take up medieval codes with their openwork fleur-de-lis back and their arms ending in hammered balls. Initially intended for candles, they have been carefully adapted for electricity: new sockets (standard E14), secure sheathing, fake candles in hard cardboard painted with a wax effect. They are ready for installation and use, and retain all their original character.
