A cloisonné vase depicting two carp, one of which is modelled in relief using the moriage technique and rendered in dark grey enamel, contrasting with the background shaded from light blue to grey.
On the opposite side, another carp appears, shown deep beneath the water’s surface with an elegant effect of transparency and movement.

Condition: Very good overall condition. Hairlines on the upper side.
