Superb decorative dish in hand-painted porcelain, signed Rosier. Late 19th century. The scene, of remarkable finesse, represents a partridge surrounded by its chicks, nestled in a nest of wheat punctuated with daisies, cornflowers and wildflowers. The warm tones of the scene contrast with the elegant blue scalloped edge enhanced with gilding. Note a firing defect similar to a crack on the edge. Very good overall condition.
