Bouillon Henri – Carrier In The Fields, Important Bronze

Large and rare bronze sculpture with original brown patina, it is titled on the base PORTEUSE AUX CHAMPS, signed Henri Bouillon and bears the foundry stamp E.GRUET JEUNE. Antique cast from the end of the 19th century, in good condition. BOUILLON Henri Théophile (1864-1934) Sculptor of statues, busts. Pupil of Dubois, Mercié and Auguste Paris, he debuted at the salon in 1887 with a bust of a child, he was awarded a medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition.
