"Late 18th Century Painted Neoclassical Chest Of Drawers"
Elegant and
antique poplar chest of drawers painted with tempera in gold, brown, and white.
The structure is distinguished by its truncated pyramid legs and the top
decorated with faux marble paint, further enhancing its refinement. The painted
decorations on the front and sides recall classical interlacing motifs, while a
flower in the center of the sides completes the overall effect. The chest of
drawers features two ergonomic drawers without handles, but with keys. The
entire piece is in completely original condition, with only minor structural
restorations and an anti-woodworm treatment with interior sanitization. This is
a tasteful piece, capable of furnishing any space with refinement and elegance.
Tuscan manufacture (Siena) from the neoclassical period, dating back to the
late 18th century.
