paperweight signed by the Appert brothers, the Appert glassworks was founded in Clichy in 1835, it supplied other glassmakers with enamels, glasses, crystals... it was nicknamed "the glassmaker of glassmakers" the founder's sons developed the company, our paperweight is therefore undoubtedly an advertising object dated 1914, surrounded by a frieze of flowers on a vermillion red background. we note 2 chips the glassworks closed in 1947 careful shipping in Europe and around the world
