Art Deco Rosewood Secretary Attributed To Maurice Jallot
Curved secretary desk in rosewood veneer on front legs with bronze/gilt brass sabots. It includes a drawer at the top, a central flap with diamond-shaped decoration on the front and two doors at the bottom offering storage with a shelf. The interior of the secretary desk is in sycamore veneer with two small drawers with ivory knobs and compartments/files. Flap covered in chocolate-colored leather. Original key in bronze/gilt brass. Varnished finish. Period circa 1925/35. Attributed to Maurice Jallot (1900-1971). Scratches from use. Height: 135 cm. Width: 75 cm. Depth: 38 cm.
