Multicolored plique à jour enamels with flower, leaf and scroll motifs.
The interior base is cobalt blue enamel.
Work of the Norwegian master goldsmith Marius Hammer (1847-1927).
Hallmarks on the back vermeil M-marteau and S800.
Enamel restored in places on a handle.
A spectacular piece in very good condition, Art Nouveau period, circa 1900.
