Helvetia is a historic Swiss watch brand, initially a registered trademark of Louis Brandt & Frere (the parent company of Omega) in 1880, to become the main brand of General Watch Company in the 1930s.
After becoming an independent company of Omega in 1911, Helvetia developed its own internal movements and was a well-known manufacturer of military watches throughout the mid-20th century.
