"Pair Of Sèvres Porcelain Vases With Battle Decor, Signed Poitevin"
Superb pair of Sèvres porcelain vases, with a yellow background, decorated with polychrome medallions representing battle scenes, signed Poitevin and enhanced with gilding. The swan-neck shaped handles and claw feet are in finely chiseled gilt bronze. The mounts bear the hallmark "DECHARIAUX" under the base. Each vase is signed on the inside of the pedestal: "Mer lmple de Sèvres". Height: 60 cm.
