Large dish depicting a village scene "The Improvised Dance" Faience De Tours - Signed with the axe of the ASCH workshops, in Ste Radegonde near Tours. The Asch workshops were founded by Gustave Asch (1856-1911). His characteristic hollow underglaze mark in the shape of an axe will remain one of those most used by the workshops of Ste Radegonde.
