(1774), year of the death of Louis XV; copy bearing an Ex-libris with the Arms from the beautiful library of the Château d'Harzillemont in the French Ardennes, property of the Lord of Saint Quentin, sold in the 20th century to the Regional Council. Like the books presented on my site next to these; beautiful copy despite the epiderm on the covers? in a binding in blond glazed calf, with a pretty spine with baroque irons, titles and volume numbers in ochre morocco, edges gilded with bright gold , covers with triple gilt fillets, marbled guards with ex-libris with the coat of arms. A beautiful complete set by the great Abbé Millot, which had a deserved success....
