Louis XIV style cartel from the 19th century signed on the dial "Berthoud à Paris" in brown tortoiseshell, very rich ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronze attributed to "Alfred-Emmanuel Beurdeley" BY (1847-1919) participated in the universal exhibition of 1878, he is compared to the most famous artists of the time, such as Dasson, Grohé, Sauvrezy, Fourdinois; his last major event was the Universal and International Exhibition of 1889, this cartel is a replica of a model by "Charles Cressant". White enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, original bronze hands, chime on bell, revised movement, set guaranteed for two years.
