Beurdeley
Louis-Auguste-Alfred Beurdeley, born on May 18, 1808, in Paris where he died on November 29, 1882, was acabinetmaker and bronzesmith.
He was the son of Jean-Baptiste Beurdeley, a saddler and harness maker in the Murat Regiment who later became an antiques dealer.
In 1835, he took over his father's business, the "bronze and curiosities" workshop. During the Second Empire, he diversified the family business by incorporating furniture and art objects. He exhibited several art objects and supplies at the 1855 and 1867 World's Fairs.
He passed the reins to his son, Alfred-Emmanuel Beurdeley, in 1875
