Rare English polychrome earthenware dinner service, late 19th century, 65 pieces. Produced by the English manufacturer Simon Fielding and Co based in Devon at the end of the 19th century, with polychrome decoration of branched birds and flowers. Aquatic model, enhanced by hand. Superb colors, profusion of flowers and birds in nature. A decoration characteristic of the naturalist taste and for the Far East of the time. It consists of: 24 dinner plates, diameter 23.5 cm. 12 soup plates, diameter 24 cm. 18 dessert plates, diameter 21.5 cm. 3 raviers: 22 cm by 11 cm. 2 high compotières: 24 cm by 11 cm. 3 low compotières: 24 cm by 7 cm 1 round hollow dish: diameter: 29 cm. 1 round hollow dish: diameter: 32.5 cm. .Good general condition. Very pretty colors for a very beautiful subject. Note: some enamel chips, small losses and scratches on certain pieces, a service that has lived but with intact charm!!!
