Original patinated terracotta sculpture representing a long-haired dog lying majestically on an Empire style daybed around 1900, signed on the front right at the point Ch Chivot Pour Charles Chivot (1866-1941). This painter, sculptor, illustrator was notably the student of Léon Bonnat. In sculpture, he is known for his animal representations. Our dog on his bed is very realistic, the sculpture is delicate, fine and detailed.
