"19th Century Transitional Commode"
Exceptional Parisian chest of drawers from the Napoleon III period, decorated with dazzling rosewood and amaranth marquetry and rich bronze trim. It opens on the front with three drawers adorned with drop handles with rosettes, it reveals a superb rosewood and amaranth marquetry framing a bouquet of flowers. The sides are decorated with a bronze frame that enhances the colors of the exotic woods. The locks are in bronze, a sign of quality, and the whole supports a very beautiful ocean green marble with corbin beaks.
