Very rare illustrated and lithographed theatre booklet published for the revival of the play Théodora, at the Théâtre Sarah-Bernhardt in 1902 (it was first performed in 1884).
The cover is illustrated with a lithograph on vellum of the famous portrait of Sarah Bernhardt by René LALIQUE with his printed signature.
We can also see the medallion of Sarah Bernhardt reproduced on the back cover as well as sketches of Lalique's jewellery.
Also included are reproductions of drawings by Georges Clairin (including the play's poster), sketches of props by René Foy (stylus, scepter), the play's sets and costumes, notes and sketches by Victorien Sardou and Sarah Bernhardt, a score of Jules Massenet's music, etc.
