Total length: 135 cm - Barrel length: 100 cm
Eight-sided barrel, then round; dated 1818 and stamped DT (from the inspector Dombret Martial) on the left side. The right side bears the stamp of the inspector Louis Nottret: N in an oval and the initials M and R. Bayonet lug.
Flintlock from the An XIII pistol; it is signed Mre Royale de Versailles and bears the G under star mark of the inspector Augustin Germain. It is stamped IEM on the inside.
Trigger guard with underguard. Brass fittings with the hallmarks D or H for Jean-Baptiste Deschaseaux, first class inspector, and Jean-Baptiste Hardy, second class inspector. Iron hammers.
Long walnut stock, registered 326.
Iron ramrod with nail head, stamped D for Deschaseaux.
An aluminum tag is attached to the trigger guard, bearing the collection number 73.
This light rifle was manufactured exclusively by the Manufacture de Versailles, which produced 201 in 1817 and 200 in 1818, the last batch before the factory closed.
Very good condition.
