"Large Blown Glass Goblet With Engraved Decoration Of A Sailing Boat, 18th Century"
Important glass or goblet in blown glass with a slightly greenish tint, the base formed by four ridges above a thick bottom, the truncated cone-shaped cup decorated with a sailing boat with a pointed prow navigating on the waves, helped in this by two men in hats, oars in hand. Numerous small air bubbles, mark of the cane. Period: probably 19th century, perhaps earlier. Height 14.8 cm - diameter at the rim 11.7 cm - at the base 8.2 cm. Very good condition.
