"Vesperale" tapestry in hand-woven polychrome wool from the Aubusson Robert Four factory, based on a cartoon by Thérèse Le Guen circa 1965. Signed lower right "Le Guen" in the pattern. Bolduc on the reverse bearing the model's details and the proof of limited edition of 580 copies. Thérèse Le Guen, active circa 1955-75, visual artist, cartoonist. "Vesperale" motif, variation of the "Soleil d'Or" cartoon in softer and more neutral tones. Unlined, hand-hemmed, the hem frayed in places.
