"Camille Tharaud Limoges, Art Deco Period Candy Box With Stylized Flower Decor"
Very beautiful porcelain box from the Art Deco period with grand feu decoration, circa 1930, work from the Camille Tharaud factory in Limoges. Square in shape, it is decorated with a decoration of stylized flower corollas occupying all the visible faces of the object. The dominant color is a deep blue, called oven blue which "pulls" strongly towards purple, the petals are gray-pink and turquoise; all the motifs are surrounded by gold. The object is in excellent condition, it bears on the back the monoram CT (for Camille Tharaud) FRANCE LIMOGES as well as the signature of the decorator Lemovices.
