Lucien Félix Henry, oil on canvas depicting the return from fishing signed lower right L.Henry, 19th century period. Old restorations. Dimensions 65cm x 54cm Lucien Félix Henry born in Sisteron on May 22, 1850, died in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat on March 10, 1896. Student of Viollet le Duc, then the School of Fine Arts. Colonel under the commune and architect of the insurrection in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. Deported to New Caledonia, after his amnesty in 1879, he went to live in Australia, several of his works are exhibited in the museums of Noumea and Sydney.
