A very old cast iron fireback. Ca.1750-1800. Finely and rich decorated. The central field features a fleur-de-lis decoration flanked by Louis XVI style objects, surmounted by a royal crown. Beautiful aged by time and use. The visible vertical line is the result of the space between two planks in which the original model was made. Worldwide shipping.
