Pewter oil pitcher, baluster shape with pedestal, nippled lid with shell thumb, fixed handle, fitted with a curved spout with sides. Nicolas BONNET's countermark in clear: BONNET / 30 / indistinct sign.
Height: 19.8 cm.
PEZENAS, First half of the 19th century

This shape is characteristic of Languedoc productions for this type of object.
Nicolas BONNET is mentioned in Pézenas at this time by the author of the work cited below.
The number 30 is perhaps the year of creation of the mold (1830)
Good condition, a consolidation at the junction of the tongue and the cover is however reported.
