Eugène-Jules Eudes is a French watercolorist. He signed his works JEUDES. His first job was as a decorative painter on porcelain. He became a painter and his first painting was exhibited at the Salon des artistes français in 1878. He received the diploma of honor in Turin in 1911 and a silver medal for a painting exhibited in Saint Petersburg in 1914. He then became an illustrator of works at Éditions Paul Lechevalier and in particular of the books of the botanist André Guillaumin (in the Practical Encyclopedia of the Naturalist, volumes XV (1929), XVI (1930), XVII (1931) & XXIX (1936)) He collaborated with the Revue Horticole, from 1914 to 1938, where he painted 121 watercolor plates.
