"19th Century Viticulture Wine Cellar Crane Cast Iron Circa 1880 Inland Boat / Barge Lifting Device"
Winery crane used in a vineyard to lift baskets of grapes into vats. The lifting device is equipped with a winch with a non-return ratchet to prevent the load from descending unintentionally. The turret rotates 360 degrees. The winch has a braking system (drum bandage) for lowering equipment. Balustered cast iron base stamped by a manufacturer in Bézier around 1880. Very beautiful lifting device to fix, can also be found on a barge. Height 2 meters, base diameter 61 cm. Flywheel diameter 84 cm. Always stored dry. Everything works. Can fit in a small van or on a trailer.
