Augusto Miniati is an Italian artist from Tuscany (1885-1971): he studied at the Institute of Decorative Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
In the 1920s, he participated in the creation of monuments commemorating the death of students from Tuscany during the 1st World War.
In 1926, he was named honorary member of the Academy of Drawing Arts
