"Lega African Headdress - Former Belgian Congo"
LEGA African headdress from the private collection of a person who worked in the former Belgian Congo from 1949 to 1958. On a carefully woven cap made of natural fibers, this headdress is entirely covered with cowrie shells. This cap was originally topped with elephant hair. Height of the cap: 16cm Diameter of the cap: 16cm Total height with the strap: 30cm
