Juspe de Ribera (1588 or 91 - 1652) The Penance of Saint Peter etching on laid paper date in the plate on the reverse from 1621 old print frame 20th century in oak laminated on cardboard low margins good condition slight dampness at the top right dimensions engraving on view 32.5x24cm with frame 40cm x 31.5cm description in The Painter Engraver by Adam Bartsch edition of 1820 vol XX pages pages 81, 82 similar engraving in the collections of the Louvre Ribera's engravings are rare because produced over a short period in the artist's creation from 1616 to 1630
