Two Pairs Of Doors And Their Frames - Empire Period - Height 220 Cm.
Two pairs of doors and their frames in molded wood and stucco, lacquered in white and rechampi blue. The upper panel decorated with a victory, wings outstretched, standing on an orb, adorned with an antique tunic, arms raised deserting a crown. The lower panel centered with a laurel wreath. The frames highlighted with a frieze of stylized laurel leaves. The hexagonal handles in gilded bronze centered with an eight-petaled flower, encircled and framed by palmettes. Empire period. Missing paint and stucco. Dimensions of the doors: 205 x 85 cm. Dimensions of the frames: 220 x 105 cm. Notes: Doors of a very similar model are present in the gallery on the first floor of the Hotel Beauharnais and this model of a winged victory in stucco is also present at the Château de la Petite Malmaison.
